Supper House Lab
teamLab is an international art collective we have followed closely for years, and one that continues to quietly and disarmingly raise the bar for the rest of us. Founded by four very different minds, led by an exceptionally forward-thinking engineer-slash-creative lead, they have managed to shift more than how we experience art but how we exist within it.
What drives them is an intense commitment to collaborate across diverse disciplines. Within a team 800-strong and still growing, you will find
spatial architects, mechanical engineers, moss doctors, astrophysicists, mathematicians and technologists alike, all working in concert to explore the relationship between the self and the world, and new forms of perception.
In order to understand the world around them, people separate it into different entities with perceived boundaries. teamLab seeks to transcend the fragile boundaries between to achieve a borderless continuity of time.
The direction is clear, but for now, Supper House is working very closely with Ikkan International to ensure the occasional teamLab installation sits exactly where it should be.
